Alexandra Younes is a Sydney-based pop singer-songwriter combining edgy guitars, sultry piano and midi synths with explosive drops to create a diverse sound. Her genius songwriting and production paired with powerhouse vocals likened to Demi Lovato and Kelly Clarkson truly sets Alexandra apart from the rest. Her inspiration stemming from the likes of Christina Aguilera to John Mayer helps shape the divergent genre of pop we hear on tracks like Losing and Love On Track. Alexandra’s most important rule to follow is: not to follow any – her projects ooze elements from across all genres of music. “Her music somehow feels simultaneously dark and shimmering – it balances between vulnerability and power.” – Happy Mag
ALL I SEE IS ME, The Album, shows epic maturity in Alexandra's style, songwriting, and vocals over the past three years. After spending two years in the US performing and collaborating, there is a sense of confidence we can hear through her music that elevates the connection and power behind this album.
Somehow, Alexandra Younes manages to balance raw emotion and encapsulating lyrics with upbeat, nostalgic 2010s alternative-pop undertones, breathing new life and definition to emotional ballads.
The first release off this album, Without You, explores the pop-rock influences from Paramore and early Demi Lovato, whilst Love On Track pays homage to early Bruno Mars and Christina Aguilera, with its soulful bass-lines and catchy melodies. The album's third single, Think About Me, truly shows Alexandra's ability to combine the best parts of any genre to create one extraordinary sound.
ALL I SEE IS ME is out everywhere on July 29th.
